About

FERNANDO AYALA
Owner

My passion for dogs started in 2006 when I walked into the Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago. I had never visited a shelter before, and I was at a loss for words when I saw so many homeless pets. On that day, I adopted Jazz. My love for dogs grew from that point on and the rest is history.

At Bark and Play Chicago, we take special care in assuring our furry friends have a worthwhile experience. Our daycare philosophy is built around three important principles: socialization, fitness, and safety.

We pride ourselves in having a SAFE daycare. Every dog is up-to-date with vaccinations, which allows us to control kennel cough and other canine infectious diseases. Also, we do a meticulous job maintaining a clean environment. We follow a detailed daily protocol in disinfecting our play areas using doggie safe supplies. In addition, we reinforce basic obedience during their playtime to promote acceptable ‘lively’ behavior.

At the end of the day, the hearty sounds of dogs barking as they eagerly chase and play with each other gives us immense satisfaction. We build lasting relationships with both dogs and owners because we sincerely love what we do.
